How to bridge the mobility gap on the first and last mile in order to ensure seamless door-to-door transport?
Answering this easy question has been the key objective of the ICMA amobilife project for the last three years.
Thus, based on the idea of transnational cooperation, numerous innovations have been implemented for Pursuing Perfect Journeys. Covering a large scope of activities reaching from ICT improvements to mobility training programmes for older people, ICMA partners implemented nearly 44 actions. On 13th March 2012 in Genk the project will be coming to an end and the ICMA consortium will take this opportunity to synthesize the results of the project as well as to explore the opportunities for transferring the implemented pilot actions to other North-West European cities. The final conference will be hosted by the City of Genk and will take place from 13-14th March 2012 at the impressive C-Mine Conference Center.
