With ICMA rundum) mobil will:

  • facilitate the mobility access for senior citizens

  • promote smarter travel choices

  • improve the connectivity and late-hour security between urban and rural areas


For that purpose rundum)mobil will host a "Senior Mobility Conference"in 2009, which concentrates on potential of the next generation of information and communication technologies to facilitate the mobility access for elderly.

Further rundum)mobil will develop the training process for the qualification of the mobility trainers and will test its implementation in the community mobility interface in Bern.

rundum)mobil will also implement a taxi service based on an late-hour schedule for key routes between rural and urban areas.

rundum)mobil is also the host of the 3rd International "amobilife Skills" Training Session in Thun.
