Pirmasens

With ICMA the City of Pirmasens will:

• improve the quality and frequency of services

• maximize the capacity for demand responsive services, through efficient fleet management

• increase information services for tourists

• improve connectivity between centre areas and gateways, such as airports

 

For that purpose Pirmasens will develop a cost-model for target group specific transport provision (tourists, students, pupils) and transferable software adaptions for the management and simulation of mobility resources within the city. Further targeted mobility information services for tourists will be provided.

Also, the City of Pirmasens will create an accessibility improvement plan for the centre area to regional gateways, such as airports, through demand responsive connections. 

The City of Pirmasens is the host of the 4th International "amobilife Connections" Training Session in December 2009.
