With ICMA la Région des Pays de la Loire will:
test multimodal take-care services for physically impaired in major connection points
To reach these aims la Région des Pays de la Loire will implement a web-based information and boooking tool for physically impaired people about accessible journeys, demand responsive services in rural areas and easy orientation, by upgrading the already developed web-based journey planner "Destineo" . This includes a feasability study which will evaluate the implementation and intergration of multi-modal ticketing for physically impaired into the webtool.
Further la Région des Pays de la Loire will provide a replicable training module for qualifying employees of public services to recognize impairments and to behave appropriate according to the handicap. It will train minimum 10 employees and implement advising impaired persons on accessible journeys.
In addition la Région des Pays de la Loire is also the activity leader of the "amobilife Technology" -them activities focussing the use of information technologies for Mobility Management It will coordinate all actions and will be responsible for identifying and integrating the transferable and replicable elements into the thematic strategy of the future activity field of the transnational competence hub.
La Région des Pays de la Loire is the host of the 2nd International "amobilife Technology" Training Session in Nantes.
