"Using innovative transport technologies to stimulate regional development" is the title of the Mid-term conference of the European mobility project Sintropher, held on 25th May 2011 in London. The one-day conference targets the question how innovative transport technologies can enhance the connectivity of cities and regions across the EU under the premise of reduced public expenditure, especially in more peripheral regions. This event will be a unique opportunity to hear case studies of sustainable, cost-effective transport solutions to improve accessibility to, from and within peripheral regions in North-West Europe.
