Anja Georgi, managing director of the local public transport organisation of Offenbach NiO, was invited by the local traffic organisation Uppland Lokaltrafik in Uppsala, Sweden in order to promote projects developed by Offenbach within the framework of the transnational North-West European Interreg IVB partnership ICMA Amobilife. Focussing on improving the capability and confidence of senior citizens to make use of public transport offers, NiO / Offenbach was the first city among the ICMA Amobilife project sites that successfully implemented the train-the-trainer scheme.
