On 18th September the City of Frankfurt hosted the 4th "Day of Civic Engagement". 40 non-profit projects, covering education, health, sports, corporate social responsibility and social, cultural and environmental issues, presented their projects to visitors. The "Day of Civic Engagement" aims to encourage citizens to get actively involved in taking care of the future of their living environment and city. traffiQ the local traffic organisation of Frankfurt a.M., took the opportunity to present its current involvement in four EU-funded projects, among them the Interreg IVB project ICMA Amobilife. The presentation of traffiQ highlighted and promoted its approach to training monility attendants for elderly people and senior citizens. By promoting the training courses, traffiQ succeeded to engage a number of volunteers interested to be trained as mobility attendants for elderly people.
